‘VP Mnangagwa, Previously The Late Zanla Gen Tongogara Brother In Law Says Tongogara Was Murdered’

In December 2015, it was widely reported that Zimbabwe’s  Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, had brought in a most controversial revelation about the late  ZANLA Commander General, Josiah Magama To death.

For those unaware, the Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa was the late Gen Josia Magama Tongogara brother in law  As his second wife ‘Jenny’  was Tongogara’s sister.

Mnangagwa actually indicated that the late Gen Josia Magama Tongogara, who died in Mozambique on his way to a peaceful Rhodesia at the birth of Zimbabwe having come back from the Lancaster House Talks that led to Black rule, was actually  assassinated and did not die in a road accident as his late  girlfriend, Minister Oppah Muchinguri, also alleged to be Mugabe’s girlfriend has always alleged.

This threw into disarray all Zimbabwe government’s credibility over explanations surrounding the powerful war time general’s death. The issue also highlights the efficiency of Mugabe’s killing machinery all the way from the liberation struggle, while at the same time bringing out the need to dismantle the whole oppressive Mugabe and his whole, closely knit Zanu Pf regime structure.

Mnangagwa, was Mugabe’s personal aide and security in the liberation war and later became Mugabe’s Minister of State heading the ruthless CIO during the murderous gukurahundi campaign in which Mugabe and Mnangagwa butchered 2000 Ndebeles from Matebeleland and Midlands soon after 1980 independance.

He went on to become Zimbabwe’s Justice Minister, propping up the despot regime, and protecting Mugabe and his regime from prosecution over their crimes against humanity and electoral rigging.

Mnangagwa of all people, was at Mugabe’s side when potential threats to Mugabe who rose up in, Zanu PF internal  rebellion, were butchered, just as he was the chief architect of the murderous gukurahundi campaign across Matebeleland and Midlands regions. Mnangawa knows exactly happened to his late former brother in law Gen Josia Magama Tongogara  who died  in a Mugabe ochestrated elimination, but he kept quiet , just as he did in the Mugabe’s ruthless, murderous 36 year rule.

Suffice it is to say Mnangagwa knows all the plots, failed and successful and has always had a hand in protecting Mugabe and elevating the despot to an untouchable pedestal.

If we drop our guard and settle for Mnangagwa taking over power after Mugabe, we would simply be bringing in the same Sh*t on a different day!  Mugabe and all his Zanu PF must go! By Sibusiso Ngwenya
